Family Therapy
Develop healthy boundaries and reduce behavior problems
Service Description
Do you have a hard time setting limits for your child? Do you find yourself succumbing to your child’s wishes whenever they arise? If so, you may be a submissive parent. Don't worry. Being submissive doing mean that you're a bad parent, it just means that you find it difficult to set firm rules and guidelines. This, unfortunately, can result in children who are less aware of the limits of acceptable behavior. They may exhibit difficulties in self-control, have behavior problems, and act aggressively in stressful situations. I help parents - Understand how their childhood experiences impact their parenting style - Examine their fears and underlying anxiety that drives their responses - Find their voice and use it with confidence - Develop healthy boundaries - Communicate effectively and assertively Please feel free to contact me to schedule a free phone consultation so we can get to know each other a little before we schedule a meeting.
